DES MOINES CHALLENGE
This past weekend I didn’t have to wander far to enjoy Des Moines’ largest disc golf tournament, the Des Moines Challenge. The tournament was played in my hometown and the finale on my home course Walnut Ridge. It was my first time vending at an event and I’d like to share my experiences vending and thoughts on the tournament as a whole.
2019 MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP
This past weekend I traveled to the Disc Golf Pro Tour’s Memorial Championship presented by Discraft in Scottsdale, Arizona. Part of my goal with Wander and our blog is to share our experiences traveling, playing, and watching my favorite sport. This was my first ever DGPT experience and I had a phenomenal time. The event itself was run smoothly and everyone I encountered was extremely nice and helpful.
WHY WANDER?
What’s up everyone! Ty Tannatt here, bringing you our first ever blog post spotlighting who and what Wander Disc Golf is all about. I’ve had the entrepreneur spirit my whole life and I finally pulled the trigger on putting a few of my favorite things together – disc golf, travel, hats, and giving back. I’ve been called “hat boy” since elementary school because I wore my hat on the way to school while riding the bus every day.
